The Música no MCB project, carried out by the Museu da Casa Brasileira, an institution managed by the Fundação Padre Anchieta, will hold a post-carnival event in the central courtyard of the Solar Fábio Prado property, on Saturday, March 11, at 3 pm, with the Fanfarra Cornucópia Desvairada. The group has musical direction by Allan Martino and production by Danilo Custô. Participation is free.
The fanfarra Cornucópia Desvairada is a musical group of wind and percussion instruments inspired by the cultural diversity present in the city of São Paulo. He performs a repertoire of instrumental versions that covers diverse and well-known genres of Brazilian music, such as coco, carimbó, forró, maracatu, samba, axé and brega, in addition to his own compositions and those of partners with the same musical inspiration.
The musicians, who will be dressed with horns on their heads, will present a relaxed show of dancing songs, in broad interaction with the public, making music the great element of spontaneous connection between people.
The Cornucopia is a traditional symbol representing fertility, wealth and abundance. A vase in the shape of a horn, with fruits and flowers flowing profusely from it. Likewise, Cornucópia Desvairada is a meeting of musical richness, abundance of joy and celebration of the community in Pauliceia.
The group is also a carnival block and performs in the most diverse formats, having participated in important festivals such as Virada Cultural de São Paulo 2019, Festival Honk!, in addition to presentations at Sesc units, Pinacoteca do Estado, Teatro Oficina and in important venues in São Paulo, such as Mundo Pensante, Jazz nos Fundos, Estúdio Bixiga, among others.
