The musical selection brings together current works by new names in Brazilian popular music and artists who have already performed on the institution’s stage in more than two decades of existence of the “Music at MCB” project.

About the Music at MCB project
The Música no MCB project, carried out since 1999 at the Museu da Casa Brasileira, has been the stage for unique artists who travel outside the traditional commercial route, seeking to present the diversity of music that we find in Brazil and in the world.
Over the years, renowned artists such as João Carlos Martins, Amilton de Godoy, Arismar do Espirito Santo, André Mehmari, Christianne Neves, Eva Gomide, Hercules Gomes, André Marques, Ricardo Herz, Daniel Murray, Toninho Ferragutti, Neymar Dias and Oswaldinho do Accordion. International groups from different ethnic groups have also performed at the MCB, such as Puerto Candelária, Bloco ilu inã, Cangarussu, Benjamim Herman Quarteto, Orquestra Refugi, De Puro Guapos, Café Tango, Pepe Cisneros, Banda Freedom and Mawaca. In addition to orchestras of the most varied styles, including: Orquestra Bachiana Jovem, orchestras from Projeto Guri, Grupo GPA, OCAM, Orquestra de Mandolins, among other artists.
