A granary of talents and a podium for the consecration of professionals, the MCB Design Award annually draws an overview of contemporary Brazilian production in categories that cover product design and written, academic and editorial production linked to the segment.

Big names in the sector have already been revealed and/or consecrated by the initiative, such as the icon of national architecture and urbanism Paulo Mendes da Rocha, who won the first edition of the award, in 1986, with his Poltrona Paulistana.
