Virtual talk wheel MCB+ArqXP I Glass, universal material: architecture, design and technology
The program will bring together representatives of the glass sector for a virtual chat
On April 26, the Museu da Casa Brasileira, an institution of the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy of the State of São Paulo, managed by Fundação Padre Anchieta (FPA), and ArqXP meet virtually to discuss the technological, scientific, cultural importance and economical use of glass, the purest and only 100% recyclable material available.
The program will take place on MCB’s Youtube from 5 pm and will include the participation of Betânia Isquierdo Danelon (Manager of Guardian Glass’s team of technical managers for South America), Lucien Belmonte (Executive President of the Brazilian Association of Glass Industries) and mediation by Gustavo Curcio (PhD professor at FAUUSP and scientific director at ArqXP).
Participants will talk about the technological evolution of glass, sustainability and employability in projects from the scale of the object to the scale of the city.

About Betânia Isquierdo Danelon
Manager of Guardian Glass’s team of technical managers for South America. Active for 20 years in the civil construction market, 10 of them dedicated to Guardian. Graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from Unisinos, studying an MBA in Sustainable Constructions – INBEC.
About Lucien Belmonte
Executive President of the Brazilian Association of Glass Industries (ABIVIDRO) and director of the Infrastructure/Energy and Sustainable Development departments of the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (Fiesp). Company administrator. Advisor to several institutions such as the International Commission on Glass, Forum Das Entidades de Gás Natural, and Fundação ABH.
About Gustavo Curcio (Mediator)
Gustavo is a professor and researcher at the Design Department at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at the University of São Paulo. He has a postdoctoral degree in Design and Architecture from FAUUSP and 15 years of experience in the editorial area, visual programming, art direction, photography direction and editorial/advertising direction. He is on the editorial board of the magazines Arquitetura e Urbanismo and Téchne. Member of ArqXP’s scientific council | Innovative Experiences in Construction.
