RETOMADA E RESISTÊNCIA – TERRITÓRIO E IDENTIDADE

Next Saturday, May 28, from 10 am to 2 pm, Educativo MCB will promote the event ‘Retomada and Resistance – Territory and Identity’ with the participation of Yakuy Tupinamba, Bacurau Tupinamba and Taquari Pataxó.
The objective of the meeting is the exchange of knowledge, listening and knowledge about domestic and learning spaces, referring to the first philosophical school of the native peoples “Universo Autónomo Intercultural dos Saberes Amotara Zabelê”, whose first headquarters will be in the municipality of Una (BA), in Tupinambá Territory.
The first part of the meeting will feature an exercise in active listening to participants, providing different papers and markers as a way to practice other ways of listening. At the end of the conversation there will be a sale of handicrafts, which is also characterized as a space for learning and getting to know indigenous techniques and culture.
