The next online workshop “What object is this?” will take place on Saturday (13), at 10am, via Zoom. The object we are going to look at is the salt shaker.
When you hear “salt shaker”, what image comes to your mind?
One word for two different objects; however, container of the same salt. Table and salt shakers for food preparation. It is possible to raise many hypotheses about the invention of the two objects. One is that the taste for salt in the meal is debatable. There is a recipe for each person regarding the amount of salt.
Too much salt, it kills the dish. Little salt: tasteless, unsightly.
What else can we think about the salt of life? What about the designs of this container that is not always functional and that sometimes makes the salt wet?
Every family can participate. Let’s talk about salt and salt, activate our memories and, of course, draw!
