The activity carried out by Educativo MCB takes place on May 8th Saturday, at 10am

Blanket is the object around which we will focus on drawing in the next workshop “What is this object?”.

The blanket is a shelter against many colds, it is an indispensable item in the daily life of almost any society. With it the body is warmed and in its comfort the sleep that opens up to the dream is packed.

From a distant point in the history of mankind, its making is related to hunting knowledge or to weaving knowledge, which can be made of wool, silk, animal skins, cotton and nowadays from synthetic fibers.

From its shelter a cocoon is made and, in it, as suggested by the theme parks, traditional saunas made by many peoples scattered around Abya Ayala, it returns to the womb of mothers.

For children, it is a toy with which make-believe huts are designed; among many Bedouin peoples it is, in fact, an element of everyday architecture expressed in tents.

We invite you to a warm and cozy meeting in which we will experience the drawing and exchange memories.

Come to our workshop!
