The activity carried out by Educativo MCB takes place on July 31th, Saturday, at 10am

In our next What Object Is This workshop, we will explore toys, a diverse and almost endless category of objects conditioned to the action of playing.

A leaf, a stone, running water, a piece of cloth, a wooden stump, a mother’s bracelet, her father’s slipper, a plastic cup, a small clay plate. If it attracts interest, it becomes a toy. If put into action, it becomes play.

Perhaps play and humanity are of the same age; such action, defined by the repetition of a pleasant practice and for no apparent reason, has always been based on the imaginative power that makes the game with everyday items and perceptions extraordinary.

Some say that the toy simulates a variety of tests for adulthood, activates the development of motor and psychological activities. On the other hand, there are those who say that dealing with toys is essential how to eat.

What are the stories of your toys and how is their relationship with playing?

The activity takes place this Saturday, July 31, from 10am. Children and adults are welcome.
