NEW YEAR AT MCB

Due to the new measures adopted by the Government of the State of São Paulo to control the evolution of COVID-19 cases, the Museu da Casa Brasileira (MCB) will have its operation changed for the end of the year.

Check out our new schedules below:

CLOSED: December 24th to 28th; December 31 to January 3, 2021.

OPEN: December 29 and 30, from 10 am to 6 pm.

The Capim Santo restaurant at MCB will also have its operation changed for the end of the year.

DELIVERY: December 24, from 11 am to 5 pm.
CLOSED: December 25, 2020 to January 7, 2021.
OPEN: from January 8th, from 11am to 5pm.

The resumption of activities at the Capim Santo Restaurant – which would take place tomorrow (5th) – was postponed to this Friday, January 8th; the reopening will take place after the Governor’s pronouncement on January 7, according to the guidelines and rules that may be determined by the Government of the State of São Paulo.

The Museum of the Brazilian House, an institution of the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy of the State of São Paulo, which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2020, is dedicated to the preservation and diffusion of the material culture of the Brazilian house, being the only museum in the country specializing in architecture and design.
