The workshop ‘What object is this?’ of November 11th, 2020 investigated the vase
Special as it is, it allows us to bring the good air of wildlife indoors. For sensitive people and spiritualists, vessels are important receptacles of earth that ground energies that are left in the air. House of plants, it houses rue, sword of St. George, break demand, lavender and laurel, making a vegetable garden and decorating the garden.
Vase is function. Vessel shape is creativity. Therefore, it fits in drums, teapots, tires, buckets, cars, glasses, clay, glass and an endless amount of objects that, in a “turn of the key”, acquire a vocation for sheltering plants.
Endorsed in the popular language, it appears to speak of coincidences, about when two people without a previous arrangement meet with the same color of clothes, shoes or any repetition of a pattern of clothing… they become, by chance, a “pair of vases” .
And what are your vases like?

About the MCB Educational
The Educational MCB proposes practices that articulate the look, doing and thinking so that visitors can assume the role of researchers, researching the contents that the museum offers in a contemporary perspective. The idea is to create challenges for participants in educational activities to raise questions from their own experiences and discover new meanings by relating the visit to the MCB with their lives.
