WHAT IS THIS OBJECT? THE SALT SHAKER

#EDUCATIVOMCB

The workshop ‘What object is this?’ of March 13, 2021 investigated the salt shaker

When you hear “salt shaker”, what image comes to your mind?

One word for two different objects; however, container of the same salt. Table salt and salt shaker for food preparation. It is possible to raise many hypotheses about the invention of the two objects. One is that the taste for salt in the meal is debatable. There is a recipe for each person regarding the amount of salt.

Too much salt, kills the dish. Little salt: tasteless, bland.

What else can we think about the salt of life? What about the designs of this container that is not always functional and sometimes leaves the salt wet?
