Jury Text: This work investigates the phenomenon of attributing a second life to objects by users in the domestic environment, from the perspective of emotional design, in parallel with semiotic dimensions. At the end, nine guidelines are proposed for the practice of “Design for Requalification” (DpR), in order to contribute to the field of design towards sustainability.
