Formed by refugee musicians from different countries and led by Carlinhos Antunes, the show takes place on June 12, at 11 am
On Sunday, June 12, at 11 am, the Museu da Casa Brasileira welcomes Carlinhos Antunes, Sexteto Mundano and guests to the presentation of the concert ‘Olhando para os Lados’ on its stage.
The Sexteto Mundano is a reduced formation of the Orquestra Mundana Refugi that unites people through music. Formed by musicians from various parts of Brazil and the world, the versatility of the artists involved makes the mundane sextet walk smoothly through rhythms and melodies such as frevos, waltzes, jazz, Eastern European music, African music, Latin and ballads.
In the concert “Olhando para os lados” stand out Ayacucho, Frevo Tonelero, Mungu, Levyana, Sombras da Romãzeira, Nandus Dance, Maria Rosa, Baião de cinco and Male Betulia, among others. The Sexteto Mundano includes: Carlinhos Antunes – strings and musical direction, Beto Angerosa – world percussion, Tiago Dailelo – acoustic bass, Maiara Moraes – flute, Luis Cabrera – saxophone, Daniel Muller – piano and accordion. Special guest Léo Matumona (from Congo) and other guests.
