Installation was part of DW’s schedule! 2019

From August 20 to 25, 2019, the Museu da Casa Brasileira presented the installation “Chuva de Cordas”, by designer Sérgio Matos in partnership with DonaFlor Mobília. The work, which was part of DW’s programming! 2019, promoted a new look at the water element, based on the vision of indigenous peoples and their inseparable connection with life. The show featured the iconic Carambola bench and the Jamaxi collection, which showcase the originality of Brazilian craftsmanship.

On Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at 4 pm, there was also a conversation with Sérgio Matos who spoke about the concept of the work.

The Museu da Casa Brasileira, an institution of the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy of the State of São Paulo that celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2020, is dedicated to the preservation and dissemination of the material culture of the Brazilian house, being the only museum in the country specializing in architecture and design.
