MCB participates in the 6th Heritage day

On December 5th, the Museu da Casa Brasileira (MCB), an institution of the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy of the State of São Paulo – participates in the 6th Heritage Day. The realization is an annual program with the objective of valuing the material and immaterial cultural assets of the city of São Paulo.

Following the theme proposed for this year – “Our city, our memories” – the MCB conducts an online guided tour of the exhibition ‘Casas do Brasil: paulistanas connections’, in addition to a conversation with Educativo MCB.

On Saturday (05), from 10am the Educativo conversation wheel takes place, which will be followed by a special edition of the online drawing workshop ‘What object is this?’, Exchanges around the objects stored in the MCB collection will be provided in addition to the presentation of the records of the collection of “aesthetic experiences” organized in past editions of the virtual drawing workshop.

Starting at 1 pm, on MCB’s YouTube, an online guided visit will be made available through the exhibition ‘Casas do Brasil: paulistanas connections’, accompanied by Marcos Freire, Didiana Prata, Giancarlo Latorraca and Beto Villares

The Museum of the Brazilian House, an institution of the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy of the State of São Paulo, which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2020, is dedicated to the preservation and diffusion of the material culture of the Brazilian house, being the only museum in the country specializing in architecture and design.
