COURSES AND WORKSHOPS
In August, the Educator of the Museu da Casa Brasileira, an institution of the Culture Secretariat of the State of São Paulo, took up the study group. It was a very funny house to build a workshop aimed especially at infants and children up to 4 years old. In this phase, the first experiences of living together, trust and welcoming, as well as contact with languages and acquisition of movements occur. With each cycle, a theme is explored in the collective meetings. The study groups are open to the public, from educators, artists, storytellers, to parents and interested in general, with the guidance of educator Marisa Szpigel. The aim is to reflect on the relationship of infants and toddlers with the world, with emphasis on how the adult can be attentive to what comes from babies and very small children, noting their singularities.
From this sensitive look, the meetings work readings and exchanges of experiences on the theme, and the workshop for babies and children is being created collectively. The workshop is held after three group meetings.
On August 2, the last meeting of the group that discusses the theme “Body and sensations”, started in June. The workshop will take place on August 6, Sunday, at 2:30 p.m., with free registration. Beginning on August 16, and with meetings also on the 23rd and 30th, the investigation of a new theme, “Literature and Body” begins, with a workshop to be held on September 10. It is not necessary to be part of the study group to take your baby or child to attend the workshop.
