The exhibition at the Museu da Casa Brasileira is on view until the 11th and at the Casa Zalszupin until the 17th of September.
The Museu da Casa Brasileira -institution managed by Fundação Padre Anchieta – and the Casa Zalszupin – administered by ETEL and for galeria Almeida e Dale -, extend the exhibitions ‘Orgânico Sintético: Zalszupin 100 anos’ that honor the centenary of the birth of designer Jorge Zalszupin.
With more than 16 thousand visitors – so far – the Museu da Casa Brasileira extends the exhibition until September 11 (Sunday). Casa Zalszupin will be open to visitors until September 17 (Saturday).
At the MCB it is possible to see the new aspects of Zalszupin’s work, linked to the high industrial production of the company L’Atelier, the plastic utensils from the Eva series and the series of planned office furniture. His work as an architect is also revealed at the Museum, showing some buildings built on Av. Paulista, downtown São Paulo and Higienópolis district. The curatorship is by the technical director of the institution Giancarlo Latorraca.
At Casa Zalszupin, the public takes a new look at its residential architecture, marked by an expressionist organicity, with curved volumes and thick white walls, with photos by Nelson Kon and unpublished sketches. The curatorship is by the CEO of ETEL, Lissa Carmona, and by Professor Guilherme Wisnik.
