The workshop ‘What object is this?’ of October 24th, 2020 investigated the processors
Grating, grinding, grinding, breaking, squeezing, pressing and beating are the proper functions of utensils categorized in the broad group of processing objects. Somehow such utensils facilitate the transformation of materials, making the fruit a juice, the grain a powder, processing food, but not only, in ways that are limited to the extent of each person’s imagination.
There are those who knock to bake a cake and there are those who knock to open the nut, although knocking is a common action in both situations, each of which requires an object that serves well for each function.
Faced with so many possibilities, we ask: which objects can these processors be?

About the MCB Educational
The Educational MCB proposes practices that articulate the look, doing and thinking so that visitors can assume the role of researchers, researching the contents that the museum offers in a contemporary perspective. The idea is to create challenges for participants in educational activities to raise questions from their own experiences and discover new meanings by relating the visit to the MCB with their lives.
