On the 25th of January, Wednesday, the Museu da Casa Brasileira, an institution managed by the Fundação Padre Anchieta, will promote, to commemorate the 469th anniversary of the city of São Paulo, the workshop ‘Casa na praia’ in the institution’s garden. The activity will take place from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm and, to participate, simply register through the link:
The free workshop will be a collaborative action for the creation/installation of a beach, with sand, water, games and activities, and whatever else your imagination envisions materializing. Children and adults of all ages are invited to bring objects, beach chairs and toys to make up this lively setting.
The creation of the beach will start at 11am and continue until 4pm. To participate, Educativo MCB recommends both wearing comfortable clothes and having an option to change clothes for children.
Poster exhibitions
Highlight for the exhibition ‘A Casa e a Cidade – Coleção Crespi Prado’ that presents the urban transformations of the city in the first half of the 20th century, since the first residents of the Solar Fábio Prado that today houses the MCB, the couple Renata Crespi and Fábio Prado, were protagonists in the historical, cultural and urban changes of São Paulo.
To close the holiday at the Museum, it is worth taking the opportunity to visit the exhibitions ‘35º Prêmio Design MCB’, ‘‘Poster Contest’, ‘Remanescentes da Mata Atlântica & Acervo MCB’ and ‘Esculturas Lúdicas – Sara Rosenberg’.
