The next online workshop “What object is this?” it will take place this Saturday – February 27, at 10 am, via Zoom – and will be an investigation into the umbrella.
Curious object! Large and portable. Cumbersome and necessary. Perennial and disposable.
Regardless of the weather forecast, we will meet with our umbrellas; open, closed, stored, broken, it doesn’t matter!
Invented over 4,000 years ago, they never went out of style. Used by the Chinese, Egyptians, Persians and Romans, umbrellas were synonymous with protection for royalty and deities. Profane object nowadays, if you don’t carry it around, it is possible that you will come home wet.
Join this workshop with us, we will have a morning to exchange stories and make drawings.
The activity carried out by Educativo MCB takes place on February 27, Saturday, at 10 am
