EMBROIDERED HOUSE

Photos: MCB Educational Disclosure

The activity is part of the workshops project on the sidewalk of Educativo MCB

The embroidery workshop aims to develop embroidery with the collaboration of passers-by and interested in “giving a little stitches” on a collective panel. The proposal is to create a sharing space where people learn some embroidery stitches and collaborate with the project.

The freedom to choose the lines and the place of intervention on the cloth offers the possibility of loosening up through the design, coloring it with the desired colors, exploring points and textures.

Check out some images of the workshops below:

MCB employees also participated in the activity. See some of the embroidery below:

About Educativo MCB
Educativo MCB proposes practices that articulate the look, the making and the thinking so that the visitors assume the role of researchers, researching the contents that the museum offers in a contemporary perspective. The idea is to create challenges for participants in educational activities to raise questions from their own experiences and discover new meanings when relating the visit to the MCB with their lives.
