The Educational Visits program consists of regular visits to the MCB collection, collection and temporary exhibitions

Educativo MCB proposes practices that articulate looking, doing and thinking. We want visitors to assume the role of investigators, researching the contents that the museum offers in a perspective that considers the past to problematize the present. The idea is to create challenges for people to raise questions from their own experiences and discover new meanings by relating the themes presented by the museum to their lives.

The Educativo team seeks to constantly improve its practice and serve different audiences, through research, preparation of proposals, content planning, debates and reflections.

The activities presented consider the characteristics and interests of the groups, such as: age group, level of education, specific needs, sociocultural reality, area of study, among others. The public served in general is composed of students from formal and informal education from public and private schools, from kindergarten to higher education, participants from Social Organizations and the Third Sector.

School visits must be scheduled by the e-mail:  and take place on Thursdays at two times: 10:30 am and 2:30 pm.

Educativo MCB promotes training actions for teachers with the objective of creating connections between museum, school and city, in a way that allows participants to be multipliers of content and reflections developed from a critical look at the collection and temporary exhibitions.

The work proposes that the visit of professors and groups of students to the museum happen autonomously, mediated by the professionals themselves according to their interests and themes developed in the classroom.
