Jury Text: The creator consciously uses the relationship of use and consumption based on a reflection of the local reality – fishing net – and declares, in a poetic way, practices of transformation of discard. It is innovative when using a material that is totally despised and discarded by the fishing industry, creating a weave rich in textures. When suffering direct interference from nature and having been softened by the weather, beautiful color gradients appear. It is resistant and can be exposed to rain and moisture. It transforms the discarded into coveted through conscious production.
